What do common AC repairs cost in Dallas in 2026?
Typical ranges we see in this market, from least to most:

When does repairing stop making sense?
The rule of thumb we actually use: repair cost times system age. Under $5,000, repair with confidence. Over it, look hard at replacement, especially on an R-410A system that will only get costlier to service. A 6-year-old system is almost always worth fixing. A 15-year-old system with a failing compressor almost never is. In between is where an honest technician earns his keep, and we'll show you the math either way.
